About Star's Sire...
Rented Tux is a
black/white tobiano premiere triple registered with the
Tennesse Walking, Racking Horse and Spotted Saddle Horse
Associations. His dam was sired by World Grand Champion
Gll's Carbon Copy. Gll's Carbon Copy is from a long line
of prepotent stallions being sired himself by World Grand
Champion Roger's Perfection. The legendary Midnight Mack
K sired Roger's Perfection and was defeated only by the 3x
World Grand Champion Talk of the Town. Rented Tux's
sire's bloodlines also go back to the legendary, World Grand
Champion, Pride of Midnight...
About Star's Dam...
Copys Raven Beauty
is a direct daughter of the legendary WGC
Gll's Carbon Copy (see above) on her sire's side, but on her
dam's side, the pedigree gets even better! Her dam, Go
Boy's Raven Beauty, is the direct daughter of, as you were
probably hoping, the legendary World Grand Champion, Merry Go
Boy. She's also the grand daughter of World Grand
Champion Midnight Sun and World Grand Champion Pride of
Midnight...
About Star...
"Star'' is,
without a doubt, one of the most beautiful horses,
inside & out, that a person could ever hope to find. She’s an
in-your-pocket friend that stays by your side everywhere and
loves as much attention, grooming and treats as a person can
give. She’s green-broke, but is so gentle that she
seems born-broke and is calm, sweet, laid-back, confident,
and eager to please in-hand and under saddle. She can
be ridden alone or with other horses and has always been very
level-headed by birth. Being raised in the mountains of
Montana, she has seen abundant small and large wildlife
including deer, elk, pheasants, mountain lions and bear, etc.
Since “Star’s” sire & dam were both
black in color, there’s a great chance that Star may not carry
the modifying “agouti gene” that restricts black pigment to
the points (lower legs, tail, mane/forelock, ears) of the
horse…this turns a black base horse into a bay color. This
makes the odds of her being able to produce black horses or
black & white spotted horses when being bred to a black
stallion (black is dominate over chestnut) or a chestnut
stallion, without the agouti gene, much higher.
With great sadness, we are offering her
to approved, loving homes with references. We believe “Star”
is a once-in-a-lifetime mare if you're looking for a
loving, gentle, beautiful family member and riding companion
that you can treasure...
Thank you for your
interest,
